If you’re adding in backlist records manually, the process is almost the same as adding new ones. The most efficient way is to upload the data by spreadsheet. Go to Data exchange › Imports ⤴ or read up on how to import products.

If you still need to add backlist products one at a time through the Consonance website:

1. Follow the instructions to add a new work

Find them at ‘Add a new work, its contract and its products’. Either duplicate or create from scratch.

2. Type in the correct ISBN-13

After you’ve saved the page, go to Work › Metadata and find the ISBN region (Publication > Identifiers). Type in your ISBN-13 and click Save.
